Job summary

Planet Fitness, part of National Fitness Partners, is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a 3rd shift in our La Plata, MD club. Starting at $15 per hour with increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after year one, based on anniversary date.

Typical hours are 11pm–7am, up to 29 hours per week, Monday–Thursday. You will deliver a superior Judgement Free guest experience, greet members, sign up new members, log amenities, and operate the POS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote our fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
