Job summary

Planet Fitness Kernersville is hiring a Customer Service Representative to greet members, sign up new members, and ensure a friendly, helpful environment. This part-time role includes logging amenities, answering questions, and processing purchases at the point of sale.

Daily duties emphasize delivering a Judgement Free member experience. Shifts include evenings and weekend coverage with hourly pay starting at $11.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency for POS and records.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones with a friendly demeanor using scripts.
• Greet members and sign up new members.
• Tour new members and log amenities.
• Respond to questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at POS.
• Promote fitness classes to members and guests.

Job Location: L041 Kernersville - Kernersville, NC 27284

Part- Time: Starting at $11 per hour.

Possible Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday-Sunday 6:45 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
