Job summary

Planet Fitness in Springfield, PA is seeking a part-time team member to provide exceptional member service and support a welcoming Judgement Free environment. The position requires friendly communication, signing up new members, and assisting guests at the register and in the club.

Responsibilities include greeting members, processing purchases, answering questions, and promoting fitness classes while maintaining a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.

Part-Time: Starting at $11 per hour. Mon-Fri 4:45am-10:45am

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.

• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
