Job summary

Planet Fitness Martinsburg is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to deliver a top‑notch Judgement Free member experience and assist guests with sign‑ups, questions, and tours.

This part‑time role requires availability Monday–Thursday 5PM–10PM and Friday 4PM–9PM, with starting pay at $11.50 per hour and regular increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote our fitness instruction classes to our active members and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Location: L107 Martinsburg - Martinsburg, WV 25404

Part- Time: Starting at $11.50 per hour.

Required Hours, Monday thru Thursday 5PM-10PM, Friday 4PM-9PM (closing).

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
