Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Lead Provider Compensation leader to guide philosophy, metrics, and governance across physicians and APPs, with senior-level collaboration across the organization. The role focuses on standardizing compensation methodologies and ensuring fair market value.

The position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate legal and executive stakeholders within a faith-based health system.

• Knowledge of provider compensation industry trends in a medical group environment
• Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals
• Ability to influence change, clarify ambiguity, and mobilize team members at all levels in the organization for meaningful action
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and managerial skills
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft software platforms
• Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff
• Ability to mentor and train VPs, Directors, and Providers

Responsibilities

• Leads the development and implementation of Provider Compensation philosophy, guiding principles, citizenship metrics, and quality metrics.
• Collaborates with executive management and legal counsel on interpreting existing compensation plans.
• Designs standardized approaches for Provider Compensation methodology for both Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Develops and supervises physician compensation models, including planning acquisitions and service line development.
• Conducts annual analytical reviews of each employed provider’s pay structure to ensure fair market value.
