G&W Electric Co. is hiring for an Assembler I to perform sub-assembly and assembly tasks in a 5:00am to 1:30pm shift. You will prepare, assemble, inspect, and document components while following blueprints and instructions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and up to 1 year of manufacturing experience, with the ability to safely use small tools and read English instructions. Our facility emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ideally has 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Is able to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Is able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Is able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, parts lists, and gathering parts and tools.
• Position parts by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components by checking connections and fastening parts.
• Assist in prototypes and basic assembly projects outside normal production as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean工作 environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Train others in basic assembly tasks as needed.
• Inspect all work and ensure it meets requirements before passing to next operation.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
