Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking an Assembler I for its manufacturing facility in the United States. You will prepare and assemble components, study drawings and bills of materials, and ensure correct fit and quality.

The role involves reading instructions in English, using hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. We expect 0–1 year of manufacturing experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift and handle parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and understand verbal directions in English.
• Able to read drawings and Bills of Materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Assemble components and verify proper fit and connections.
• Assist in prototype builds and other basic assembly projects as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and use tools properly.
• Conserve resources and equipment to complete tasks.
• Train others in basic assembly tasks as needed.
• Inspect work and ensure it meets requirements before passing to next operation.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
