Illumina is seeking a strong Inside Sales Representative/Sales Development Representative to join our team. The role includes cold calls, appointment setting, and email outreach for the proteomics sales team, plus qualifying inbound leads.

You will support regional field sales, maintain CRM records in Salesforce, and work toward meeting or exceeding targets across the Americas. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and B2B inside sales experience, preferably in healthcare/pharma, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• B2B virtual/inside sales experience strongly desired, preferably in healthcare/pharmaceutical sales.
• MS Word and Excel expertise.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Engage target accounts via email, calls and other tactics to promote Illumina proteomics products and services across the Americas region.
• Respond to inquiries and follow-up on Marketing qualified leads.
• Support regional field sales with qualified lead identification and smooth transition to field reps.
• Set appointments/meetings related to qualified leads for sales reps.
• Nurture leads where potential customers are not ready to purchase yet.
• Track daily KPIs and plan activities to meet defined expectations.
• Participate in team meetings and training as required.
• Achieve or exceed individual goals and collaborate with reps to meet targets.
• Document all outreach information in Salesforce.
