Illumina is seeking a strong Inside Sales Representative / Sales Development Representative to join our proteomics sales team. You will conduct cold calls, set appointments, and generate email outreach while qualifying inbound leads, supporting regional field sales, and logging activity in Salesforce.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, B2B virtual/inside sales experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical sales, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• B2B virtual/inside sales experience strongly desired, preferably in healthcare/pharmaceutical sales.
• MS Word and Excel expertise.

Responsabilités

• Engage target accounts via email, calls and other tactics to promote Illumina proteomics products and services across the Americas.
• Respond to inquiries and follow-up on Marketing qualified leads.
• Support regional field sales with lead research and smooth transition to field representatives.
• Set appointments/meetings for sales reps in territories you support.
• Nurture leads where potential customers are not ready to purchase yet.
• Document all outreach information in Salesforce.
