Job summary

Herc Rentals invites early career professionals to join the Black and Gold Academy—an immersive 12‑month sales training and development program designed to prepare you for a Territory Sales Representative role.

You will shadow experienced reps, learn the full product portfolio, and gain hands-on field exposure with opportunities to advance into leadership roles within the sales organization.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of sales or relevant customer-facing experience.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Herc Rentals’ Black and Gold Academy, a structured sales development program.
• Shadow Territory Sales Representatives and observe customer interactions in the field.
• Visit customer job sites with sales leaders to understand project needs and equipment applications.
• Assist with customer outreach, lead generation, and supporting revenue growth within assigned territories.
