Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our Marketing team. You will lead complex proposals, qualifications packages, and client-focused messaging to support our growth objectives.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Operations, technical staff, and Marketing leadership to craft compliant, winning proposals and to drive continuous improvement of proposal tools and processes. This role emphasizes independence and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing/Communications/English/PR or related field with 5–7 years in proposal development in AEC industries.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex proposals from kickoff to submission.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leads development, coordination, production, and delivery of complex proposals, qualifications, and related marketing collateral.
• Manages multiple pursuits with schedules, compliance, deadlines, and quality.
• Facilitates kickoff meetings, sets schedules, coordinates contributors, and drives accountability.
• Collaborates with Business Development, Operations, technical staff, and Marketing to craft win themes and client messaging.
• Analyzes RFQs/RFPs to identify compliance requirements, evaluation criteria, and risks.
• Coordinates content from technical staff, teaming partners, and stakeholders.
• Writes and formats content for clarity, responsiveness, and messaging; ensures brand consistency.
