Job summary

Garver is seeking a motivated Proposal Coordinator to join the Water Marketing Team in Tulsa, OK. The role blends graphic design, content writing, data management, and project leadership to produce industry-leading proposals.

The ideal candidate brings strong writing/editing skills, basic graphic design knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines. Collaboration with engineers and internal clients will drive creative, winning submissions and future proposals.

Qualifications

• Education or proven experience in Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, English, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
• Demonstrated writing and editing skills that set you apart.
• Familiarity with basic graphic design and page layout principles.
• Ability in Adobe InDesign with a drive to master the program.
• Accuracy and efficiency in incorporating red-line edits.
• Outstanding communication skills that bring ideas to life.
• Demonstrated project management skills that can receive information from multiple channels while holding parties accountable to deadlines and drive progress.
• 0 to 4+ years of relevant experience – onboarding can be customized.

Responsibilities

• Take the reins of the proposal process, overseeing everything from RFP release to final client delivery, including ownership of the document and deadline management.
• Use Adobe InDesign and our graphic assets to craft proposals that showcase Garver’s strengths and brand.
• Craft custom-written content that speaks to the client's selection committee and differentiates Garver from competitors.
• Coordinate and organize technical information, photography, subconsultant data, and marketing materials.
• Contribute to the central information database of custom content for future projects within the Water Marketing Team.
• Learn the water engineering space to communicate effectively with project leaders and clients.
• Collaborate to create compelling client presentations that win projects.
