Job summary

RR Living in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Manager to oversee a wide range of maintenance tasks across a multifamily community. You will lead a maintenance team, supervise make-readies, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool operations, and grounds, while coordinating with vendors and the Community Manager.

You will ensure safety, stay within budget, handle on-call emergencies, and maintain excellent resident service by prioritizing responsiveness and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years experience as Service/Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in multifamily or property management maintenance.
• HVAC, EPA and CPO certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across the community including housekeeping, grounds, capital projects, HVAC, appliances, and electrical systems.
• Supervise make-readies and ensure timely completion of work orders to keep residents satisfied.
• Coordinate with vendors and external contractors for renovations and new construction plans as needed.
• Monitor inventory, authorize purchases, and ensure safety policies and city/state codes are followed.
• Manage budget with Community Manager and train/develop the maintenance team; handle on-call emergencies.
