Job summary

RP Management Inc. is seeking a property operations professional to manage daily tasks for a specific property, ensuring occupancy goals and compliance with landlord-tenant laws. The role involves coordinating leasing activities, tenant communications, and vendor management.

You will support the Community Manager and Asset Manager, maintain files, handle applications, and contribute to budget processes while ensuring a friendly, professional environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property.
• Maintain accurate files for tenant, applicant, vendor, and accounting records.
• Coordinate marketing and advertising campaigns to lease apartments.
• Assist Community Manager with resident events and tours.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity affecting leasing.
• Prepare leasing packs, forms, deposits, and required information for showings.
• Process applications and screen applicants for approval.
• Conduct pre-move-in inspections and manage rental/ Security deposit processes.
• Track prospect referrals, walk-ins, and inquiries; follow up on leads.
• Oversee work order dashboard and ensure timely responses to tenant requests.
• Ensure tenants are notified of issues affecting tenancy, including eviction filings and hearings as directed.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing Laws and landlord-tenant codes.
• Prepare security disposition letters and reports; manage accounts payable/receivable procedures.
• Submit regular occupancy, move-in/out, traffic and rent roll reports to Asset Manager.
