Job summary

Southern Management is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to assist in the overall operations of the community, developing the team, and ensuring compliance with policies and internal quality standards. Through dynamic leadership you will create extraordinary experiences for residents and staff.

You will help hire, train, coach, and manage the team, support day-to-day on-site operations, leasing, service coordination, administrative tasks, budgeting, and community plans.

Qualifications

• Graduation from The Southern Difference Institute or equivalent education + property management experience
• Three years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or real estate

Responsibilities

• Encourage and build positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendors
• Create valuable experiences by providing high levels of customer service
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching, counseling and managing of team
• Ensure Southern Management policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards are upheld
• Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture and align with Southern Management's mission, vision, and values
• Assist in preparation of annual budget and community plans
• Assist in management of all day-to-day operations on-site
• Support all marketing and sales efforts; perform leasing, service coordination, administrative, bookkeeping and collections duties as necessary
• Respond in emergency situations as needed
• Stay abreast of industry trends
• Contribute to community/company engagement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
