Job summary

Greystar in the Greater St. Louis, MO area is seeking a Property Manager to lead day-to-day operations of an apartment community, oversee staff, budgets, leasing, and compliance with Fair Housing and other regulations.

You will monitor financial performance, set rent, approve invoices, manage vendor relations, analyze market trends, drive occupancy goals, and sustain resident satisfaction while maintaining property safety and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets and monitor financial statements.
• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection and reporting.
• Approve vendor invoices and manage payments.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement and resident applications/renewals.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing/leasing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction and oversee maintenance standards.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure safety and appearance.
• Supervise staff—hire, train, and evaluate performance.
• Manage client/owner relationships and provide property updates.
