Job description

Property Manager | Premier Class A Office Complex | Oak Brook, IL

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a high-profile Class A office campus in one of Chicago’s premier suburban markets. The property is a recently renovated 500,000 SF, multi-building office complex featuring two towers and connecting buildings. Following significant capital investment and a full rebrand, the property is positioned as a premier workspace destination with strong visibility and a high-quality tenant base.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a large, sophisticated asset with real visibility and responsibility. The Property Manager will oversee day-to-day operations while partnering with ownership, vendors, tenants, and building teams to ensure the property performs at a high level.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of a 500,000 square-foot, multi-building Class A office campus, ensuring the highest standards of building performance and tenant experience
  • Manage all financial reporting functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, CAM reconciliations, and monthly ownership reporting packages
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, proactively managing relationships, resolving issues, and driving retention across a diverse tenant roster
  • Bid, negotiate, and administer vendor and service contracts, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost efficiency across all property services
  • Coordinate and oversee capital improvement and tenant improvement projects in partnership with ownership and construction management teams
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including life safety systems, building codes, and environmental requirements
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets and capital plans, monitoring performance against budget and providing detailed variance explanations
  • Collaborate closely with leasing, engineering, and accounting teams to support occupancy goals, asset strategy, and ownership objectives
Experience
  • 3+ years of commercial property management experience, with a strong preference for Class A office
  • Demonstrated strength in financial reporting — budgeting, CAM reconciliations, variance analysis, and ownership reporting are core to this role
  • Experience managing large, complex, or multi-building assets preferred
  • Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, MRI, or equivalent)
  • Strong tenant relations and communication skills with a service-first mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
