Job summary

Ambo Properties is seeking an experienced Property Manager to take full ownership of on-site operations, lead a dedicated team, and drive resident satisfaction. The role emphasizes strong leadership, budgeting, leasing, and compliance with housing laws to maintain high occupancy and quality service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of property management experience, bilingual abilities, and a proven track record in leasing, marketing, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience
• Bilingual (Required)
• Familiar with leasing, budgeting, rent collections and vendor management
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and state/local landlord-tenant laws
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Willing to work some weekends and handle emergencies when needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site operations and lead a property management team
• Coordinate resident relations and ensure high-quality customer service
• Manage leasing process, show units, screen applicants and execute leases
• Monitor the property budget, expenses, and financial targets; collect rents and minimize delinquencies
• Supervise maintenance and on-site staff; provide training and support
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including Fair Housing
• Coordinate third-party vendors and manage contracts for maintenance and repairs
• Oversee move-in/move-out processes and ensure units are ready for new residents
