Job summary

Ambo Properties in Texas seeks an experienced, self-motivated Property Manager who will own operations, lead the on-site team, and drive resident satisfaction. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day performance and meeting occupancy and financial goals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of property management experience, strong knowledge of leasing, budgeting, rent collection, and vendor management, and proficiency with Yardi, RealPage, or similar software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of property management experience.
• Ability to lead teams and meet goals.
• Strong understanding of leasing, budgeting, rent collection and vendor management.
• Experience with Yardi, RealPage, Remote Landlord or similar software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and local landlord-tenant regulations.
• Ability to work some weekends and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding resident relations and responsive service.
• Coordinate property maintenance inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
• Oversee leasing—show units, screen applicants, and sign leases.
• Support occupancy goals through creative marketing and outreach.
• Manage the property budget, expenses, and financial targets.
• Collect rent and minimize delinquencies while keeping records.
• Supervise maintenance and on-site staff; foster accountability.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and local regulations.
• Coordinate third-party vendors and manage contracts.
• Oversee move-in/move-out turnover and final inspections.
