Job summary

Greystar in San Jose, CA is seeking a property manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a stabilized mid-rise community. You will lead the on-site team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with housing laws while driving occupancy and resident satisfaction.

The role requires a 4-6 year track record in property management, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with Yardi or similar systems. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; housing discounts and bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lead a team, hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Proficiency with property management software and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property, including team and resources.
• Set rent rates and oversee collections, banking deposits, and monthly financial reports.
• Review invoices, ensure insurance certificates, and coordinate with vendors and clients.
• Oversee leasing, inspections, and enforcement of lease terms, notices, and renewals.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing/leasing strategies to hit occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ensure maintenance standards and timely response to resident service requests.
• Supervise staff and coordinate owner communications and property tours.
• Complete required accounting, financial, and administrative reports.
