Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a proactive Community Manager to oversee daily operations of a San Diego apartment community, managing staff, budgeting, leasing, and compliance with housing laws. You will drive occupancy and revenue while ensuring exceptional resident services and property standards.

The role requires experience in property management, strong leadership, and expertise with Yardi/Entrata systems. Eligible for housing discounts and robust benefits with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing, customer service background.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into the development of budget(s) for the property by analyzing and evaluating financial statements and operating reports.
• Meets targeted revenues by setting rent rates and ensuring timely collection and reporting of financials.
• Approves invoices and manages communication between vendor, accounting, and client/owner.
• Controls expenditures within the approved budget and maintains petty cash balance.
• Oversees lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and fee collection.
• Gathers and analyzes market trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies for occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests; monitors maintenance standards.
• Conducts regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Supervises staff through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Assists in client/owner relationship management and reporting.
