Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager in San Jose to oversee day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. You will lead a team, manage budgeted financial and operational goals, and ensure compliance with policies and housing laws.

The role includes a 40% housing discount, on-site responsibilities, and eligibility for quarterly bonuses. Strong software skills (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite) and a US driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop budget input by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection and reporting of revenues.
• Approve invoices and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and owners.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applicant screening, renewals, inspections, and notices.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests.
• Ensure maintenance staff comply with company standards and safety.
• Conduct regular property inspections and maintain property appearance.
