Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations of multiple apartment communities in the San Jose area. You will lead property staff, manage budgets, optimize occupancy and revenue, and ensure compliance with housing laws and company standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, rent administration, vendor management, lease enforcement, and coordinating maintenance. A strong focus on resident relations and team performance is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum of relevant property management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to lead a team independently or collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and input budgets for the property by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Meet targeted revenues by setting rent rates and ensuring timely collection of rent/fees.
• Approve vendor invoices and manage communications between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty cash.
• Oversee the lease enforcement process and conduct periodic inspections.
• Analyze market trends to guide marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction by timely response to issues and ensuring maintenance standards.
