Job summary

Fairstead is a purpose-driven real estate firm seeking a Community Manager for one of our properties. The role oversees day-to-day operations, on-site compliance, and overall property performance, ensuring adherence to HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and LIHTC requirements.

The position requires at least 3 years of management experience, COS/CPO certification, and experience with Yardi or RealPage. You will lead a team, coordinate maintenance, and manage budgets and reporting while delivering

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred.
• TCS certification for tax credit properties.
• Experience in Affordable Housing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook.
• Coordinate with Compliance Department for regulatory responses.
• Implement intervention strategies with Regional Managers and Compliance.
• Prepare REAC reviews, MOR, LIHTC reviews, and recertifications.
• Assist tenants with requests and complaints.
• Monitor arrears and litigation; coordinate evictions as needed.
• Process rent applications and delinquencies; pursue collections.
