Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Community Manager to lead on-site operations and regulatory compliance at a property within the portfolio. You will oversee leasing, maintenance coordination, and vendor contracts while ensuring HUD and affordable housing standards are met.

The role requires strong team leadership, budget oversight, and familiarity with Yardi/RealPage systems to optimize occupancy and resident services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification required or preferred.
• EIV experience and familiarity with affordable housing programs.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; willingness to learn regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure on-site compliance with HUD standards.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and vendor bidding processes.
• Manage rent collections, delinquencies, and occupancy compliance.
• Prepare and respond to regulatory reviews and audits.
• Monitor budgets, attend monthly financial meetings, and report to stakeholders.
