Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliant property management at one of our affordable housing communities. You will manage leasing, inspections, tenant relations, budgets, and on-site maintenance, while coordinating with compliance and regional teams.

Applicants should have management experience in affordable housing, COS/CPO, EIV, and experience with Yardi/RealPage. This role offers a competitive package and benefits through Fairstead.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a management role overseeing a team.
• COS or CPO certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred.
• Experience in Affordable Housing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Maintains knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Regional Managers on tenant issues.
• Manage REAC reviews, MORs, LIHTC reviews, and recertifications.
• Oversee rent collection, delinquencies, and evictions.
• Coordinate vendor bids and building inspections.
• Prepare reports and monitor budgets.
