Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold building and grounds quality, safety, and functionality across our properties. This role emphasizes timely work orders, efficient make-ready processes for new move-ins, and responsible use of tools and materials to control costs.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to interact with residents professionally, and experience with property maintenance software, preferably Entrata Yardi or One Site.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience Preferred: 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• Advanced Skills: Communication and Delivery Skills with ability to connect to people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service within 24 to 48 hours, diagnosing the defect or problem and making repairs.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and new move-ins, including inspections and scheduling.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Tracks inventory and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to track service requests.
• May inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
