Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure interiors and exteriors of properties meet safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, completing work orders promptly, and supporting make-ready processes for new residents.

You will work with management to maintain equipment and facilities, focusing on quality, efficiency, and safety while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and delivery skills and ability to connect with people at all levels.
• Proficient in property management software (Entrata Yardi and/or One Site).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests within 24–48 hours and perform routine upkeep.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate inspections, vendors, and materials.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Track inventory, materials, and tool usage; return items to proper locations.
• Document work orders promptly for accurate records and reporting.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA requirements are followed and participate in safety meetings.
