Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a skilled Service Technician to maintain physical buildings, grounds, and common areas. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete make-ready preparations for new residents, ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Responsibilities include inventory management, documentation, and assisting with cost-control. Candidates should hold EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver's license for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch list, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Follows procedures to access materials and equipment, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to record service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans and paints as needed, and supports cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver's license to operate golf cart
