Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain indoor and outdoor property areas, facilities, and equipment. The role focuses on completing work orders, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring property cleanliness and functionality across buildings and amenities.

The position involves driving on-site, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting make-ready processes for new move-ins. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required, with full-time on-site

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• State and local certifications as required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Executes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection and coordinating vendors and materials.
• Accesses and obtains materials from maintenance by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Assists in grounds and amenity maintenance by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and handling tools and materials efficiently.
