Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities. The role involves completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and preparing units for new move-ins with careful attention to safety and quality.

The position requires 1–2 years of experience, ability to work flexible hours, and EPA refrigerant certifications.Onsite duties include some travel between properties and possible on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.
• OSHA safety training and related compliance are expected.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling as needed.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and notify supervisors for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, assists with cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools/materials efficiently.
