Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property meets company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacants, inventory tracking, and on-site upkeep of grounds and amenities, with an on-call rotation and safety training requirements.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory, return unused items, and notify re-order needs.
• Completes documentation to track service requests and repairs.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
