Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician in Lexington, KY to handle routine and preventive maintenance across properties. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and preparing units for leasing with attention to quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

You will also document work orders and assist with grounds and common areas as needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certifications (EPA/HVAC) are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• May hold HVAC certifications and EPA refrigerant credentials.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compliance with OSHA and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing and move-ins.
• Manage materials, inventory, and vendor coordination as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and equipment upkeep.
• Attend safety meetings and adhere to safety policies.
