Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to perform maintenance, complete work orders, and prep vacant units for leasing. You will diagnose issues, repair defects, and document work for tracking. This role supports grounds upkeep, safety compliance, and coordination with vendors as needed.

Responsibilities include cashing in on cost-saving practices, operating tools safely, and meeting local certification requirements. Onsite work with potential schedule flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• State and local certification requirements apply to technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Access materials and track inventory; report reorders to maintenance supervisor.
• Document work and close service requests in the system.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with painting and cleaning tasks.
• Seek cost savings by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
