Job summary

Royal American Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve and upkeep the property under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager. You will perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and safety checks in accordance with OSHA standards.

The role requires good attendance, clear communication, and the ability to work with residents and vendors. Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and maintaining grounds, pools, and common areas.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and ability to troubleshoot units.
• Proficient reading, writing, and following handwritten/printed service requests.
• Willingness to travel for property business and possess a government-issued ID or valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment per manufacturers' recommendations.
• Inspect apartment units, buildings, and common areas; provide repairs and janitorial assistance as needed.
• Maintain the grounds and amenities; assist in custodial work and prepare units for re-occupancy.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances to supervisor; maintain safety records and compliance.
