Job summary

Royal American seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety standards, perform preventive maintenance, and repair multi-family properties. You will inspect units, maintain grounds, and assist with custodial tasks to ensure high-quality environments for residents.

The role requires HVAC knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and respond to service requests. Occasional travel and on-call duties are possible.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC units and ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and follow service requests and write reports.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with basic maintenance tools and equipment.
• Willingness to travel for property business as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies at all times.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and unit refurbishments.
• Keep records of maintenance, work orders and inspections.
• Assist in custodial tasks and maintain common areas and amenities.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; avoid Freon-related work unless certified.
• Report unusual incidents and maintain professional appearance and attitude.
