Job summary

Royal American Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve and upkeep multi‑family properties. Under supervision, you will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, complete preventive maintenance and maintain safety standards.

You will also inspect units and common areas, update work orders, train staff when needed, and communicate with supervisors to ensure timely repairs and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and follow handwritten/printed service requests and manuals.
• Must have a government-issued state ID or valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, fixtures and common areas.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.
• Maintain the property grounds and assist custodial tasks as required.
• Document work orders, inspections and inventories according to procedures.
• Participate in standby emergency coverage as needed.
