Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and ensure properties meet company standards and legal requirements. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and high-quality resident service.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, basic trade skills, and be available for day shifts with weekend/on-call rotation. Training on fair housing, safety, and harassment prevention is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college hours preferred.
• 1 year of electrical, painting, drywall and plumbing experience.
• Night/weekend call duty availability.
• EPA and HVAC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, monitors and/or performs preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Diagnoses problems and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall and appliances.
• Responds to work orders promptly and professionally; ensures timely unit turnover.
• Coordinates with vendors/contractors and assists with obtaining bids and overseeing work.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents and promotes a quality living experience.
