Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep and resident satisfaction. You will handle repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and drywall, perform preventative maintenance, and complete unit turns for new residents.

Additionally, you’ll conduct safety inspections, coordinate with vendors, assist with budgeted maintenance projects, and ensure timely, high-quality work while delivering exceptional customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in electrical, painting, drywall, plumbing, or related maintenance trades preferred.
• EPA Certification Type I & II required for pool maintenance.
• HVAC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and drywall as needed.
• Complete unit turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Perform emergency maintenance as required.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas for upkeep.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors; assist with budgeting and invoices.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and communicate repair timelines.
