Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and uphold the property's standards, performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency responses.

You will inspect common areas, complete unit turns, work with vendors, and ensure safety and quality while delivering responsive customer service to residents. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and the ability to work independently, including after-hours on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools.
• Availability for night, weekend, and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and unit turns.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage maintenance supplies and invoices.
• Provide exceptional resident service and timely repairs.
