Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Ohio to support maintenance operations across the community, including corrective, preventative, and cosmetic tasks. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, handle work orders, and participate in make-ready processes to meet property objectives.

The role emphasizes resident service, safety, and accurate record-keeping for EPA/OSHA standards and inventory. A High School diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance for the property, including corrective, preventative, and routine tasks.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform make-ready tasks and assist in scheduling maintenance/repair events.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in maintenance shop and common areas.
• Maintain preventive maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce future repairs.
• Support maintenance supervisor and community manager in daily operations.
