Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician for Avana on Main in Atlanta, GA. You will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings meet safety and appearance standards while supporting on-site operations and resident service requests.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, making-ready units, inventory control, and documentation. A flexible on-call schedule, on-site housing discounts, and extensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on-property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair to policy and safety standards.
• Finish make-readies for vacant units, manage punch lists, coordinate vendors and supplies.
• Track materials, return unused items, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document work in a timely, accurate way for proper service request tracking.
• Help maintain grounds and amenities; assist with cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Aim to fix parts rather than replace to support cost-control programs.
