Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service a Garden property in Georgia. This role performs technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds and amenities clean, safe, and fully functional.

The position requires compliance with safety policies and on-site participation in routine inspections and on-call coverage. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready tasks for new move-ins, inventory management, and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Familiar with safety policies and OSHA training.
• Ability to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document work orders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and perform repairs per policy and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and return items to designated locations.
• Document work orders accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as required.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
