Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold our property's high standards of care and resident satisfaction. You will maintain buildings, address service requests, and ensure safety and curb appeal.

The role emphasizes on-site performance, teamwork, on-call readiness, and delivering exceptional service while following Avanath policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Hands-on maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances and pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• On-call availability for emergencies.
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and internet use.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete work orders and diagnose defects; repair per safety standards.
• Prepare vacant homes for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, clean and paint as needed.
• Monitor inventory, request re-orders, and assist with cost-control efforts.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements; report incidents.
