Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Memoir Wedgewood Houston in Nashville. You will handle apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by the maintenance supervisor to uphold top customer service and curb appeal.

The role requires basic maintenance and carpentry skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read and follow safety guidelines. On-call rotation and on-site work are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Perform general carpentry work: wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, trim work, door/lock repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pool, elevator, etc.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and after-hours on-call tasks.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to leadership.
• Maintain professional demeanor and uphold uniform policy.
