Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties with a focus on customer service and curb appeal. You will perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds repairs across assigned properties.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in property management or related field, plus general maintenance and carpentry skills. Valid driver’s license and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Perform carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, countertops, windows, doors, tile.
• Conduct preventive maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, elevator, etc.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) as needed.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership on issues.
• Promote safety and risk management per policies.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance assignments.
• Maintain curb appeal and interact professionally with residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
