Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Arlington, VA to perform a range of property maintenance duties at our residential community. The role includes electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general upkeep, with an emphasis on safety and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, supporting on-call rotations, and coordinating with property leadership to maintain curb appeal and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds upkeep as directed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, window/door repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinkler, and elevator systems.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to meet standards and resident satisfaction.
• Promote safety and professionalism while collaborating with team and residents.
