Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems, perform routine and preventive maintenance, and prepare units for new residents. You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, and help keep grounds and common areas in top condition across a 300-unit property.

The role involves on-site work with a rotating on-call schedule, and requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local credentials, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• State and local certifications as required for Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents work orders accurately to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and assisting with pool areas.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools properly.
