Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete work orders to meet safety and quality standards.

You will handle make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and document work thoroughly. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required, with benefits including comprehensive medical plans and retirement options.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart or vehicle on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks inventory, re-orders supplies, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor.
• Documents work performed for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, paints curbs and signage, and cleans as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
