Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and complete the make-ready process for vacant units to support leasing operations.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and a focus on safety and cost-effective maintenance practices across on-site properties.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required (Type 1 and II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license required to operate on-site vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance to meet safety and quality standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Obtains materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-order needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and record-keeping.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities and assists in painting curbs and signage.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
